Elvin Blaine Christiansen, 67, passed away on April 24, 2008 in Sandy, UT.





He was born on May 14, 1940 in Preston, ID to Elvin and Ione Christiansen. He married Judy Ann Jones on February 8, 1963. Dad loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He liked taking road trips to see all the beauty of the Rocky Mountain States. He was an avid BYU fan and spent many hours enjoying sporting events with his family. He will be dearly missed.





He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Edward Blaine, Todd (Connie), Doug, Mark, Scott and Jason; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and five sisters. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Flora and brother, Neil.






Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Downey City Cemetery in Downey, Idaho. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
