Sylvania Telephone Issue of the 6th of December, 1918: Mrs Sallie Minors - The loved ones and friends of Mrs. Sallie Minors were grieved to hear of her death which occurred on Sunday, Nov, 17th. She had been in bad health for several years, and for sometime those near and dear to her realized that the end was not far off, although they were not expecting it so soon. The deceased had lived in Screven all her life. She leaves many friends, besides one son and four daughters to mourn her loss. Those who knew her for her sweet Christian character and many womanly virtues. She joined the Methodist church, early in life and belonged to that church at her death.
