Ed was the son of Linford and Lillian (Biles) Ridge. He married Caroline Nortenheim on April 6, 1929. Ed worked at Butterworth Corporation in Bethayres PA for many years. He was an excellent marksman and won many shooting awards. Ed and Caroline had three children.
