Thomas Jefferson Bost was a farmer and a devout Cumberland Presbyterian.
He donated the land for the Bethlehem CP Church and cemetery with the stipulation that if the church broke up the land would be returned to his heirs. The church no longer exists and the Presbytery sold the land and building. Nothing went to the heirs nor to the Cemetery Maintenance Fund.

Son of Noah & Abigail Moffitt Bost. Married first Missouri Adaline Nunley then Second Frances Maturia Smith Walker.

Missouri Adaline bore him the following children; Mary Frances, James Alexander, Fannie, Nancy Elizabeth, Nellie Eliza, Noah Norman, Hannibal Jefferson and died giving birth - she and the infant are buried together in the New Home Cemetery, Warren Co., TN.

Frances then bore him two girls Aggie Belle & Lizzie Abigail.
