WALTER LEE BLACKMAN Jr. was born to Walter Lee Blackman Sr. and Dolores Blackman on September 28, 1962.  He was reared in a loving Christian home and learned early in life the importance of what it means to be God Fearing.  Walter is known to his family and friends as Bocome.  He was the eldest of 7 brothers and 2 sisters.  He was preceded in death by his father Walter Lee Blackman Sr., his mother Dolores Blackman and his brother David L. Blackman, and his brother Cornelius Blackman.  Walter leaves behind a host of loving relatives and friends.  He leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Abigail Bullock-Blackman.  He also leaves his brothers Isaac, Raymond. Timothy, Paul and Ken (Delilah Vance) and his loving sisters Shalonda, and Lynn Blackman.  He leaves a host of uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces that he adored and loved that have impacted his life and helped him to become the man that he became.  Walter was a family man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a sports enthusiast.  He was an outstanding athlete who played football for his high school Paul Robeson High.  He later joined the military where he served in the Army.  Walter wanted to be his own boss and have a company.  He later got this opportunity as an owner operator truck driver.  Become loved driving and seeing the world as a driver operator and during his years serving our country.
