Ott Austin, 64, of Paragould, died Wednesday at his residence. Born in Evening Star, he was a retired farmer and a member of Faith Apostle Church of Hoxie.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lola Geraldine Allen Austin of Paragould; two daughters, Carolyn Day and Lola Wall, both of Paragould; a brother Henry Austin of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; a sister, Jewel Weaver of Bono,; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services have been scheduled for 11 this morning at Croft Cemetery near Stanford, with Rev. Bill Snow officiating, Heath funeral home of Paragould is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be C. R. Baine, Steve Grimes, Todd Day, Andy Lyles, Freddy Austin, Joe Austin and Grant Lyles.

Honorary pallbearers will include Jay Lyles and Larry Stalnaker.
