Josiah F. "Junior" Dum Jr., 75, of Dogwood Court, Carlisle, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 at home.

He was born Nov. 27, 1927 in Elliottsburg to the late Josiah F. Sr. and Grace (Evans) Dum.

He was a former employee of PPG Industries, Carlisle, retiring in 1981, and attended Christ Lutheran Church, Aspers.

Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Clara Smith Dum; a daughter, Jacie G. Miller of Elliottsburg; three sons, Gerald A. Dum of Biglerville, John L. "Lanny" Duke of Carlisle and Kenneth L. Dum of Mechanicsburg; two stepdaughters, Debra K. Copenhaver of Biglerville and Jane L. Smith of Gardners; two sisters, Betty Bower of Green Park and Ruth Flickinger of Landisburg; a brother, Glenn of New Bloomfield; four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; six stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandsons.

Services were held Feb. 7 in Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville, with the Rev. Robert S. McEllroy III officiating. Burial was in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
