On Wednesday evening, January 14, 1891, at her home near Knox Butte, of paralysis, Mrs. Rebecca A. Haight, aged 70 years, 5 months.
Mrs. Haight was a pioneer of 1845, coming here from Pennsylvania, and leaves five children, all grown, among whom are the Haight Brothers and Mrs. S.A. Dawson. She was a woman of great moral worth, and leaves many to mourn her death.
