Rose Anna Stark was united in marriage to Edward Sydney Cox on September 3, 1911, in Miller County, Missouri. They were the parents of two sons, Basil and Edward. Rose's husband, Edward, died July 1914 in Robert Lee, Texas. In March of 1921, she married Everett Harris. He passed away in 1944.

Mrs. Rosie Anna Harris, 54 years old, passed away Saturday, December 21, 1946, at her home in Johnson County. She lived with her son at 5020 Cunningham Road. She left three sons, Basil James Cox of 5011 Folds Rd. in Johnson County, Ed Lee Cox of Olathe and John William Harris of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Sadie Kelsay of Yampa Colo., Mrs. Mary Craig of Los Angeles, Mrs. Grace Cochran of Gary Ind., Mrs. Clara Farris of 1514 Haskell in Kansas City Kas., and Mrs. Maggie Cox of Los Angeles; a brother, John Stark, of Eldon and four grandchildren.

Friends called at the Daniels Bros. Funeral Home on Minnesota Avenue. The funeral services were held at the Armourdale Baptist Church, followed by interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
