Donna M. Harris
January 22, 1947 — January 23, 2024
Millerton

Donna M. Harris, age 77, of Millerton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Broad Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro. She was married to the love of her life, Stephen W. Harris, enjoying nearly 60 years of marriage together. Born January 22, 1947, in Wellsboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Lucretia (Starkweather) Button.

Donna was a perfect role model for continuing to challenge oneself and never giving up on your dreams. After already establishing a stable life with her husband and children, she pursued her dream by attending Corning Community College to become a Registered Nurse, graduating in 2005 and continuing her nursing career at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. She was a long-time member of the Wesleyan Church of Millerton and loved the camping and canoeing trips taken with her husband. As a loving wife and mother, Donna took great pride in her family and enjoyed traveling to see them, with her furthest trip being to Japan, twice.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Stephen W. Harris, of Millerton; children, Stephanie (Bill) Collum, of Biloxi, MS, and Jarred (Joseph) Harris, of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Valerie, Kristine, Alyssa, Kyra, Liam, and Warren; two great grandchildren and three siblings; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her foster son, Terry L. Kimball, brothers, Ernest Campbell and Robert Button, and her sister, Lucille Parker.

Family and friends are invited to attend Donna's memorial service on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 3:00 p.m., at the Wesleyan Church of Millerton, 5174 Main St., Millerton, PA 16936, with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating.
