He died 2 December 1983 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas at the age of 33 years, 8 months and 22 days.
Virgil was a very special child, he had a concern for other's and he loved the Lord, church, his family and friends. He enjoyed good health until several months ago when he started to complain of stomach discomfort.
He spent five days in the Meade District Hospital in October.
On 17 November he was admitted to the Southwest Medical Center where he underwent tests.
On 2 December at 2:24 a.m. he quietly slipped away to his eternal home in heaven where he will have a perfect body and no more suffering.
Those who will cherish his memory are his parents, his brothers, Dean and family, Jerry and family, Gary and family, his sisters Janet Bartel and family, Lavonne Loewen and family.
