Helen Pauline Kirby, 76, of Conway, passed away January 16, 2012. She was born August 2, 1935, to Paul and Katherine (Hegi) Brannon, in Saltillo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Cecil Eugene Kirby, her husband of 50 years, and her sister, Mary Nell Starkey. Helen is survived by her three children and their families, all of Conway: son, Michael, grandchildren Jacob and Kara, and Jacob's wife Jessica, and daughter, Keylea; son Timothy, daughter-in-law, Nancy, and grand daughter, Leslie; and daughter Kathy, son-in-law Stephen Lehmann, and grandson, Eric Lehmann. She was a long-time member of Brumley Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. An avid reader, Helen leaves behind a strong love of literature in her family. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00pm, Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 10:00am, Thursday, at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, in the Springhill Community, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Conway, with Jacob Kirby, Allen Gwatney, Hunter Gwatney, Bill Cossey, Brad Brannon and Kenny Starkey serving as pallbearers.
