He served his country with the United States Navy for six years and traveled around the world three times aboard the USS Pennsylvania. Arnold always had many stories and experiences to share with his family and friends.
On March 19, 1977, Arnold was united in marriage to Ruth Bosman in Green Bay.
Arnold and Ruth traveled the U.S. from one end to the other sharing their love and time together with their dog as their constant companion. Ruth cared for Arnold for the last 12 years, never thinking of her own health and concerns.
Arnold's dear friend, Marie Nickiel, spent many hours and days sharing her love, great laughter and concern with Arnold and his family. "God bless Marie."
Patty, Arnold's daughter, cared for him in the most precious and caring way. She took him into her home so that her mother could get a moments rest.
Gary, Arnold's son-in-law, spent many days and hours hunting and fishing with Arnold and preparing everything they got.
In the most precious moments of his life, Tabitha Peters, his granddaughter, was at his side to help care for him.
