Monica Loera-Martinez, age 52, of Canyon Country, California passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. Monica was born in California.
She was raised in the San Gabriel Valley and graduated from San Gabriel Mission High School. Monica dedicated her life to helping the community. She worked for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation for many years before joining the staff of Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. One of Monica's proudest moments was attending the State of the Union Address at the State Capitol under the Bush administration.
Her passions included travel, cheering for the Dodgers, going to Disneyland, and enjoying nights at the Magic Castle. But nothing beat her love for her husband, other than her fur-baby, Mia. She also had great love for her family and friends, and her three nieces.
