Obituary:
Roy Wendt, 90, went to join his beloved wife, Donna, early on March 31, 2021. Originally from New Jersey, Roy was able to travel the US and the world, first serving in the Army in Korea, then living in a variety of different states, and visiting many other countries. His careers saw him work for Borden Chemical, though he retired from Georgia Pacific.An avid golfer, with two holes-in-one to his credit, he was also active as the handicap chairman and a contributor to a variety of different fund-raising tournaments. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and humor. His most important thing was his family; his daughters Karen Wendt and Jenni Wendt, his son Ted Wendt, daughter-in-law Kim Wendt, and granddaughter Callie Wendt celebrate the time they had with him. He also leaves behind a wealth of good friends and extended family. He will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Lake Country SPCA.

A visitation with the family is scheduled at Watkins Cooper Lyons Funeral Home at 703 Virginia Ave. in Clarksville VA from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 3.
