Mary attended the Akron Church of God for 47 years. She enjoyed being in the Women's Group and helped with the Food Pantry.

Surviving Mary is her daughter: Lori j. Fitzpatrick of Akron, IN and companion James Kats; daughter-in-law Heather Buck of Flowery Branch, GA; (3) grandchildren: Mary Katelyn Buck, David Fitzpatrick and Jacob Kats; (2) step-grandsons: Lukas Kats and Joshua Kats; (3) great-grandchildren: Macie, Milo and Chloey; (5) step-great-grandchildren: Macie, Airreona, Bryson, Kathleen and Olivia.

Preceding Mary in death are her parents; husband Shannon (2015); son Bryon (2020); step-grandson Dylan (2020); (2) brothers: Bruce and Bill Berol; (2) sisters: Susan Clark and Shirley Ahlers.
