Sheila Faye (Reed) Shelby, 73, of Ledbetter, KY, passed away at 5:22 AM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Mrs. Shelby was a certified medical assistant at Riverfront Terrace and a member of Church of Nazarene of Paducah.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Danny Shelby; one son; one daughter; two brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur Reed and Nina Viola (Burns) Reed; six brothers - Bill Reed, J.E. Reed, Samuel Reed, Amos Reed, Burrell Reed and John Reed; and five sisters - Naomi Heldenbrand, Irene Taylor, Martha Strange, Charlene Russell and Alice Reed.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah, KY with Bro. Carl Hawkins and Bro. Tony Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, KY. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
