❦ Early Life: Jackson was born January 20, 1953, to Chanley Vincent and Adell Marie Jackson Andersen in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he live for his first 12 years, before moving to Provo, Utah. He was educated at Lincoln Elementary, Granite Park Jr. High, Dixon Jr. High, Provo High School, and Utah Trade Tech.
❦ Life's Work | Service | Interests: Some of his jobs have included: selling Spudnuts, delivering the Salt Lake Tribune, Bradshaw Small Engine Shop, Frontier Harley Davidson, A & B Auto Repair, Gas N Go Maintenance, and RootsTech. Jackson was always ready to tell a joke even if you had heard it before. He loved to repair cars and trucks and was always ready to help you do your genealogy. He loved to find relatives and how you were related to him or someone else. He had an incredible memory of people, names, places and dates. Jackson loves and has been a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His friends and classmates from Provo High were always held near and dear to his heart. Jackson and Cindy Lynn Allman Andersen would have celebrated their 19th anniversary on the day of his passing. Cindy was always a priority in his life and he was a great support to her. His unexpected passing came as a shock to all that knew him, but came as a relief knowing that he passed in his sleep without pain and suffering. George "Jackson" Andersen passed from this life December 10, 2023. He was 70 years old.
❦ Survived By: His wife, Cindy; brother, Robert; and father-in-law, Stan Allman.
❦ Preceded In Death By: His mother, father, sisters: Dorothy Jean and Marie Grace Andersen; mother-in-law, Linda Allman; stepsons: Brandon and Bryon Bingham.
