Mrs. Maria Raquel Romero, 77, a resident of Maxwell 21 years, died Friday night at the home. Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Leopoldo Garcia of Springer, Mrs. Salomon Archuleta of Maxwell, Mrs. Frank Padilla of Albuquerque, Mrs. Benny Cruz, Mrs. Rodirico Chavez and Mrs. Candido Herrera, all of Maxwell; three sons, Juan of Ogden, Utah, Transito of Cimarron and Santiago of Maxwell; three sisters, Mrs. Ruben Trujillo of Taos, Mrs. Fructuoso Garcia of Clayton and Mrs. Manuel Sisneros of Montana; 54 grandchildren, and 37 great granchildren.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 Saturday night in the chapel of Raton Funeral Home and at the family home Sunday evening.
High mass was at St. Vincent of Paul Church here at 9am Monday. Interment was in Maxwell Cemetery.

Rosary was recited at 7:30 Saturday night in the chapel of Raton Funeral Home and at the family home Sunday evening.
High mass was at St. Vincent of Paul Church here at 9am Monday. Interment was in Maxwell Cemetery.
