Carl,my father, married my mother, Amy Pearl Cox, on 4 Feb 1923 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. From this marriage they had two children, a son and daughter, both living.
Carl was a Register Professional Engineer. He retired from the Texas Dept. of Highways, worked for the Bureau of Public Roads ( now Federal Highway Administration) in the Philippines for several years and then in Iran building roads. He suffered a stroke while in Iran and returned to Austin, TX. He worked for the Travis County Clerk's office until he formally retired. He enjoyed card games, discussing politics and many other features.
