Liana L. Clevenger, 62, of rural South Whitley, died at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne where she was a patient for the past week.

Born on September 8, 1960 in Columbia City, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Wilma Mary (Love) Clark. Growing up in Columbia City, she attended Columbia City Joint High School.

On March 25, 1985, she married John Devoe Clevenger. They have always made their home in the South Whitley area.

A full-time homemaker raising the couple's two children, she loved infants and babysat for as many as 15 infants and toddlers. For a few years, she transported members of the Amish Community.

She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, but held a special place in her heart for her miniature dachshunds.

Surviving is her husband, John; daughters, Patricia L. Lee, and Alison R. Clevinger of South Whitley; grandchildren, Corbin (Alexis) Lee, Chase Brown, and Devin Haskins; a great-grandchild, Weston Lee; and sisters, Beverly Brandon, and Barbara (Steven) LaLone both of Columbia City.
