Daniel Glenn Dixon, 75, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 30, 2023 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. He was born in Gaston County, NC, son of the late Delbert Barnett Dixon and Annie Sue Baker Dixon and was preceded in death by a brother, David Dixon. Daniel served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force as a jet engine technician. After his service ended, he was employed by Dallas AirMotive where Daniel continued his career and served as an aviation and training specialist for nearly forty years until his retirement. Daniel enjoyed working closely with the Kings Mountain Little Theater for over 15 years. He especially enjoyed working on the technical side of productions, running sound and lights for many plays. Daniel also served as a past president and on the board of directors for many years. An avid Kings Mountain football fan, he was a member and great supporter of the KMHS Touchdown Club. Daniel was a wonderful husband, brother, uncle and friend to many people. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, as well as the community of Kings Mountain.

Siblings: Teresa Williams, and Greg Dixon and wife Sheila, both of Kings Mountain, NC

2 nephews, 3 nieces, and a multitude of grand nieces and nephews

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Pastor Perry Hines officiating

VISITATION: Friday, December 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
