-John Johnson received a telegram this morning from his brother, Merrill W. Johnson of Paris informing him of the death of his wife, Mrs Fannie Johnson. About two months ago she suffered a severe attach of neuralgia of her heart and it is supposed that her death was caused from this trouble.
She was about 55 years of age and leaves two daughters, Misses Sallie and Mammie aged seventeen and fourteen years respectively.
Mrs. Johnson's maiden name was Sims, She was a sister to Dr. Alonzo Sims for many years a prominent physician of McKinney, but who died in Weatherford two years ago. Another brother, Jesse Sims resides in Oklahoma City, in Oklahoma Territory.

Mrs. Johnson and her mother Mrs. Sallie Sims, came to Texas from Mississippi some twenty years ago and Mrs. Johnson conducted a millinery establishment in McKinney for a long while prior to and after her marriage to Mrs. Johnson. No lady who ever lived in McKinney was more highly esteemed and loved than she was and her death will be universally regretted. She has visited several times since moving to Paris, some twelve years ago. Her mother died several years ago. Mrs Johnson was a devout member of the Baptist church.
