Mrs. Neta Blackwelder Helms, 103, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Atrium Health-Cabarrus, surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Everett Helms and the daughter of the late James Thomas Blackwelder and Nora Elizabeth Blackwelder.
She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Rena McPahtter, Catherine Petrea, Ray Blackwelder, Ralph Blackwelder, Alice Dorton, and Adelaid Blackwelder.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Oakwood Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Central United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Tom Latimer. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Coltrane Room. Memorials may be directed to Central United Methodist Church, 30 Union St. N.
