Marlow: Anita Lou Turner, 79, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Marlow.
Anita was born Sunday, May 28, 1944 in Marlow, to Clearance and Daisy (Goodmiller) Blue. She married the love of her life, Ron Turner, on December 12, 1960, in Duncan. Anita and Ron celebrated more than 62 years of marriage together at the time of her passing. She was a long time member of Glory Bound Church and she genuinely enjoyed serving in the church. Anita could always be counted on to cook the funeral dinners when needed. She enjoyed playing card games with her family and you could always bet on it, Anita was going to cheat. She also enjoyed camping and fishing in her spare time. Anita loved her family the most and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her husband, Ron "Mr. T" Turner of Marlow, son, Mike Turner of Rush Springs, 2 daughters, Barbara Gensman of Duncan, and Donna Kay Gabriel of Marlow, grandchildren, Dusty Olivier of Marlow, Kelvin Kaelin of KS, Kyle Kaelin of AL, Keith Kaelin of Marlow, Koi Turner of Rush Springs, and Macalah Turner of Rush Springs, 5 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Thomas Blue of Marlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Ronnie Dale Toles, 3 brothers, Veral Joe Blue, Lavern Blue, and Jean Blue, and 2 sisters, Wanda Harcourt and Clora Travis.
Pallbearers will be: Tom Travis, Wayne Travis, Bill Turner, Terry Turner, Jerry Turner, and Jeffrey Turner
