Mr. Alsup was a native of St. Joseph, MO. He lived in Modesto for seven years, he previously lived in San Jose from 1961 to 1995. He was a cement truck driver for CAP Concrete for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1942 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Alsup of Modesto; daughter, Christine Reynolds of St. Joseph, MO, stepchildren, Kathy Jordan of Riverbank, CA, Craig Edwards of Modesto, and Shelli Noonan of San Jose; brother Willard Alsup of Stockton; sister Sue Henderson of Santa Cruz; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, and two great great grandcildren.
A graveside service will br at 2 p.m. Monday at San Joaquin Valley Narional Cemetery, Santa Nella. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin and Downs.
