Philip T. Aaron, 94 years of age, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, March 4th, 2005 at the Russell County Hospital.

Phillip was born on September 11th, 1910, son of the late Nona Winfrey Aaron and Edward Aaron. He was retired from the United States Navy, having served in both World War II and the Korean War, and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church.

Phillip was survived by his loving wife, Zella Alice Smith Aaron; two daughters, Mary (and Gary) Blakey of Jamestown, Kentucky and Margaret (and Craig) Parmerlee of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, Janna Blakey of Las Vegas and Brandon Blakey of Jamestown, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nona Aaron and Edward Aaron.

Visitations and funeral services were held on Friday, May 6th, 2005 in the Chapel of the Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Kingry and Bro.Dennis Price officiating.

Special musical selections were preformed by Betty Hart.

His pallbearers were: Jimmy Pyles, Don Hart, Jim Heathman, Jeff Womak, Foster Pickett, and Dennis Price.

Burial followed in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
