Mrs. Stephenson was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Stephenson; two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by three sons, Hershal Stephenson and wife, Carol of Rougemont, Larry Stephenson and wife, Dot of N. Myrtle Beach and Terry Stephenson and wife, Lawana of Durham; one brother, Enos Parrish of Benson; one sister, Alma Smith of Raleigh; six grandchildren, April Green (Barry), Alan Stephenson (Dianne), Rodney Stephenson (Kim), Eric Stephenson, Scott Stephenson and Brandon Stephenson (Sheri); six great-grandchildren, Desmond Stephenson, Jacob Stephenson, Cameron Stephenson, Ethan Stephenson, Houston Green and Payton Green.
Mrs. Stephenson had worked at Fairey's Hosiery and retired from Durham Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was active in Sunday School. She loved to garden and crochet
