Pappy Johnson as he was called. He was married to Virgie Johnson Johnson. Yes, her maiden name was Johnson too. They had several children, M.B.(Matthew Berry), Laverele, Cleon, Larry, Lester, Leland, Allen, Nelda (the only girl), and Richard who proceded him in death thru an auto accident. They also had several grandchildren. All of their kids grew up to be productive citizens of the United States. Some of them served in our great military. Pappy could cook those "home-made" biscuits. He was a retired farmer, and a Baptist. He lived in the Gary, Texas area most of his life. His oldest son, M. B. Johnson (Matthew Berry) left this earth on Aug. 10, 2002.
