Marjorie was born on December 6, 1925 in Toulon, Il., the daughter of William and Cora (Heironimus) Hall. She married Irvine F. Bishop on February 12, 1944 in Toulon. He died on August 11, 1966.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, John; one grandson; two brothers; two sisters; one half-brother; and two half-sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Gardner and Gynethia Bishop, both of Kewanee; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Fornander, Kewanee.
She was a 1943 graduate of Toulon High School. She had worked for the Walworth Company, Boss Mfg. Empire Clothing, Toy Factory, Alfono's and other Kewanee restaurants, Kidd Funeral Home and did housework and babysitting. She was a member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also on the welcoming committee and residence council at Royal Oaks Nursing Home. She also enjoyed doing word search puzzles and spending time with all her family and friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at Mt. Palatine Cemetery at a later date.
