The Springfield Daily Republician (MA) January 19, 1910 > Harry W. Allsop, age 62, a merchant and well known citizen of Williamstown, died last night in his home. He was born in Bristol, England, April 26, 1848, and came to the United States in 1868, locating in White Rock, RI. He married Mary Jane Kershaw of Grosvenordale, CT, January 14, 1874. She died three years ago. He leaves seven children, Mrs. Gertrude A. Grundy, Raymond K., Harry J., Hermon, Edna, Bessie and May, all of Williamstown. He also leaves two brothers, Thomas M. and John E., of Ashton, RI, and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Aldrich of Pawtucket, RI, and Mrs. Fannie Davis of Ashton, RI. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the house and the burial will be in the family lot in Eastlawn Cemetery.
