Louanna Harper, 87 of Logansport, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Miller's Merry Manor.

Born on August 12, 1936 in Cass County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Helvie) Lantz.

On August 17, 1952 in Logansport, IN, she was married to John L. Harper. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2020.

Louanna was retired from RBM where she had worked as an assembler.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Louanna enjoyed quilting, sewing and cross-stitch. She was an avid reader who loved the challenge of a good jigsaw puzzle.

Louanna is survived by one daughter; one son; one brother; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William J. Harper; one daughter, Brenda E. Harper; four brothers - Roy, Alan, Herbert and Delmar Lantz; and four sisters - Audrey Ray, Donna Young, Sherril Gibbs and Phyllis Merrett.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, where the funeral service celebrating Louanna's life will begin at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
