Vernon Wall, 91, of Logansport, IN, formerly of Indianapolis, IN and Nashville, IN, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by his family at Chase Center in Logansport, IN.
Born on August 16, 1932 in Lincoln County, KY, he was the son of the late Claude and Iva (Fletcher) Wall.
He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Jones, on November 24, 1951 in Danville, KY.
Vernon was a tool & die maker for Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include his wife; four children; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one brother. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Walls and Steven Walls; daughter-in-law, Debra Walls; son-in-law, Paul Strathman; grandson, Darrell Walls; and one sister, Patti Thomas.
Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Rans Funeral Homes Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center, IN with Pastor Monte Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until the time of the service. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM at Weeping Willow Cemetery in Beanblossom, IN.
