The 1920 census lists William H, wife M Helen (nee Royal) and children E Ruth and E Bernice, all living in a rented home on Middle River Station in O'Neal, San Joaquin county. William is a draw bridge tender.

William H Trosper, a member of a pioneer Snelling family, passed away at his home in Fresno last Saturday, and the funeral services were held at the Snelling cemetery Monday afternoon. Mr Trosper was aged 37 and was born in Snelling where he resided until 1911. For the past three years he made his home in Fresno. He leaves a widow, two daughters, a son and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs Josie Bartlett; Mrs Joseph Thornton; Mrs Henry Halverson; Walter, Richard and Thomas Trosper. Another brother Ralph passes away in this city last December.
