TROY CARTER Troy Carter, 71, of 1151 N. Rutledge St., a retired employe of Allis-Chalmers Manufactur-ling Co., was found dead at his home at 1 p.m. Thursday. A resident of Springfield for 25 years, Mr. Carter was born at Pierce, Ky., the son of Adam Jackson and Eliza Carter and formerly resided in TaIlula. Surviving are three sons, Ronald L. and Harold L., both of Springfield and Donald F. of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Allegra Tinsley of Havana and Mrs. Jeanetta Gum of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Chaudoin of Champaign: paign, Mrs. Hallie Cosgrove of Danville and Mrs. Maple Adams of Hoopeston, Ill.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bisch Memorial Home. Dr. Adam Baum will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
