She was a former retail clerk at Lerners' Dress Shop and 2G's Boutique. She was also a former employee of Welcome Wagon and Marasa Greenhouses.
In her younger years she was a skilled ice skater and roller skater. Nadine was also a horse enthusiast and horse owner, enjoying pleasure riding and barreling. She and her husband Bill enjoyed their farm in Shelby County, Kentucky, growing many crops and raising livestock. They were also very active in Square Dancing and Bridge Club.
In her later years her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Nadine also enjoyed playing card games, spoiling her dogs, Candy and Polly, gardening, canning and cooking the fresh vegetables from their yearly garden and making the best peanut butter and chocolate fudge. She also enjoyed Churchill Downs and playing blackjack in Vegas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, William E. Wilson and sisters, Leona Kernan and Edna Blessett.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Doug Wilson (Jeanne) and Deana Wissing (Kris); grandchildren, Kirstie Dalton (James), Brett Wilson and sister, Delores Tasman.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Friday until the time of the service. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
