Kenneth Ray Pruitt of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Thomas Pruitt and Josie Berry Pruitt, was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1946 in Green County, and departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at his home after a short illness. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. Kenneth was retired from textile and warehousing after 50 plus years of service. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Connie Sue McKinney Pruitt on June 12, 2014, having united in marriage on July 5, 1965. Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law: a sister: his girlfriend: and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Pruitt was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Billy Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt, Ruth Ann Pruitt, Beatrice Cox and Betty Dunham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Harold Goldsmith, Howard Dunham, and Delane "Bimbo" Cox, Carolyn Pruitt, Bonnie Pruitt, and Phyllis Pruitt. The funeral services for Kenneth Ray Pruitt will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
