15 Apr 2008: Iva M. Lutz, 69, of Bellefonte, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Hearthside in State College. Born on February 16, 1939, in Clinton County, she is the daughter of the late Richard W. Lucas and Alice O. Dorvit Lucas. On April 20, 1957, she married Victor F. Lutz, Sr who survives at home. Iva is a 1957 graduate of the Bellefonte High School. She was a homemaker. Iva was of the Protestant Faith. Along with her husband, Victor, Iva is survived by; four daughters, Barbara Scott of Tennessee, Gail Lutz who survives at home, Linda Lutz of Bellefonte, and Robin Catherman of Bellefonte; three sons, Victor Lutz, Jr. of Milesburg, Larry Lutz of Missouri, and Richard Lutz of Howard, four sisters; May Drayer of Bellefonte, Fay Phillips of Texas, Eva Stitzer of Bellefonte, and Leah Walizer of Elizabethtown; one brother, Bill Lucas of Hublersburg; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by; one sister, Pearl Tyson; and three brothers, Donald Lucas, Authur "Pete" Lucas and Boyd Lucas. There will be a public visitation held Wednesday, April 16, 2008, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Union Cemetery in Walker Township.
