From Kimble Funeral Home:

We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Leta Andrews, a beloved member of the Junction community, who passed away in her home on June 26, 2023. She peacefully joined her cherished husband, Albert "CB" Andrews, who preceded her in eternal rest.

Leta was married to CB for nearly 61 years. Their love story was one of enduring commitment and profound companionship. Their union blessed them with 3 children. Leta worked as a nurse's aide at Kimble County Hospital for 22 years. After retirement Leta was dedicated to helping her husband CB with his trapping business for local ranchers. She was so happy to work by his side and enjoy the West Texas Hill Country. Leta was also a member of the Church of Christ in Junction for over 60 years.

Leta leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Her memory will be cherished by her sister, Kay Beam of Junction; son, Raymond Glenn Andrews of Junction; and her two daughters, Gloria Lynn Heimann of Colorado City, Texas, and Mollie Diana Andrews of Brazoria, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Leta was preceded in death by her husband, CB; her parents; her sisters Nelda Carpenter, Patsy Sorrell; and brother Raymond Blaylock Jr.

Visitation will be held 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, June 29th at Kimble Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30am, Friday, June 30th at the Kimble Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Long Mountain Cemetery in Streeter, Texas.

Per Leta's wishes, the family asks that you wear cheerful colors in lieu of black clothing.
