MCCOMB -- Graveside services for Juanita Boyd Allred will be held today at 3 p.m. at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Auburn Community with the Revs. Jason Harm and Bruce Case officiating. Hartman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Allred, of Meridian, formerly of McComb, died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was born on March 13, 1933, in Enon. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lurleen Boyd of Enon.
She was a retired educator with the McComb Public Schools. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Meridian and Centenary United Methodist Church of McComb.
Survivors include her son, Tim Allred and his wife, Linda, of Meridian; her daughter, Teresa Harrington and her husband, Jack, of Clinton; grandchildren, Karen Allred, Anna Allred, Cliff Allred and Emma Harrington; sisters, Ruth Thornhill, Grace Huhn, and Molly Boyd and a brother, Sonny Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 48 years, George Clifton "G.C." Allred and her brother, David Boyd and her parents.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
