Marie-Josephe is the daughter of Louis Bourgault dit Lacroix and Marie-Anne Meunier dit Lapierre. She was baptized the same day that she was born. She married Etienne Ledoux on 3 August 1744, in Ste-Trinité, Contrecoeur. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
