..SHERIDAN (Special) -Service for Eva Luella Dickey was Monday in the Sheridan Methodist Church with Pershall's Sheridan Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Interment was in the Harmony Cemetery. She died May 2 in McMinnville.
..She was born July 22, 1867 at Bethel. She was reared and attended schools at Harmony where in 1888 she was married to Newton Dickey. She had resided her entire life in this area and was one of the first "Pioneer Mothers" of the Phil Sheridan Days celebration. She was a member of the Sheridan American Legion Auxiliary and the Sheridan Methodist Church.
..Survivors include three sons: Floyd D. of Sheridan; Farrell Dickey of Canoe, B.C.; Merl Dickey of Portland; two sisters Ona Buchanan, McMinnville; Mrs. M. E. Thompson, Seattle; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter.
