Dale Lynn Albee, 80 of Ceredo, WV, passed away at his home peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born September 27, 1943, in Johnson City, TN the son of the late, Waler and Ruby Christian Albee. Dale was a thirty-nine-year employee of Norfolk and Southern Corporation and later both he and his wife, Shirley were the owners and operators of Lynndale Apartments for over fifty years. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Shirley Aileen Hoops Albee, one brother, David Albee. He is survived by two sons, Tom Albee (Jacinda) of South Point, OH and Tim Albee of Charleston, WV. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2023 from 4-6 pm at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services 6357 East Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near Barboursville. An evening Funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Bill Muncy officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2023, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
