This was my Great Grandfather.

James Thomas (J.T.) Morgan is the son of James Milton Morgan and Sara Jane Carter Morgan of Coosa County, AL. It is believed that J.T. came to Comanche County, Texas, around 1866, and that James along with two of his brothers "freighted" - hauled freight in wagons - for a few years. James moved to Grayson and Collin Counties about 1876 where he met Margaret Viola ('Ola) Knighton. There were married after a very brief courtship, January 22, 1879 in Collin County, TX. Their first child, Sallie Eugenia was born there while the family lived with Margaret's brother, John C. Knighton, (or at least on his land) in a cabin reportedly built by Margaret's father, Alexander M. Knighton. The family moved to Sipe Springs, Comanche County, about 1881. Pascal McQuin, Knighton Pierce, and Thomas Oliver were born there. Later they settled in Brownwood, Brown County, TX. , and then about 1920 moved to Dallas, Dallas County, TX , where Boniar Stewart, Cecil Ray, James Warner and Ralph Olen were born. Between 1920 and 1930 J.T. and Margaret moved to Tarrant County, TX., possibly in the area of present day Kennedale, where J.T. owned and operated a gravel pit. James died 14 February, 1935, declaring that he had found the "lost" San Saba mine.
