Sarah first married James Milton Morgan, 17 Dec 1851 in Coosa County, AL. James was critically wounded on the Darby Town Road in the Civl War and mustered out to return home to Fishpond, AL where he died in 1866/67. She then married Henry Dallas Argo, 27 Aug, 1867, who was an army buddy of both James, and her own brother. Henry took her older teenaged Morgan sons to West Texas where he abandoned them to fend for themselves. By 1868 Sarah, her youngest Morgan child, her youngest Argo child, and Henry moved to Comanche, Texas. Sarah had 5 children with Henry, 4 of whom were born in Texas and Indian Territory. Sometime before 1889 she and Henry were divorced and she lived with her son Alford until April 11, 1917, when her son Eugene Hilliard Morgan (a physcian) admitted her to the Confederate Women's Home in Austin, TX., where she died. (The name "Dalor" Argo, inscribed on her headstone, is likely a bad transcription of "Dallas" from her records at the Confederate Women's Home.)
Henry does not have a memorial on Findagrave. James is believed to be buried in the Fishpond, AL cemetery and Henry died in Oklahoma City, OK.
