Chuck is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sammie Chester Ford of Redding, California; Children: Teri Jo Ford and Tina Beers residing in Oroville, California; Tedi Jon and John Espitia of Crescent City, California; Traci Jean and Tony Psaila of Belmont, California; Brandy Gill and Gary DeZonia of El Dorado Hills, California; Charles C and Kristie Ford of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Stepchildren: Michael Ray Roberts of Lewiston, Idaho and Shannon Dell Roberts of Carson City, Nevada. Chuck is also the proud grandpa of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
After serving in the Air Force and being stationed overseas in Vietnam during the conflict, Chuck returned to civilian life and made a career in teaching. He taught math at Enterprise High School for 30 years. Following his retirement from EHS, he taught 2 years at Mercy High School. He also taught night school at Shasta College for many years.
A memorial for Chuck will be held at the Northern California Veteran's Cemetery on Monday, October 23rd at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Blair Cremations and Burial Services.
