Pat's strong Irish Catholic roots inspired a deep faith, wholehearted love of family, and tremendous hope that guided and sustained her through life's joys and challenges. Her fun-loving spirit and boundless energy received everyone at all hours. Her home— "Grand Central Station" —teemed with people and activity. A self-described "readaholic", Pat cherished good talks and good books.
Pat often said that her one talent was recognizing and fostering other people's talents. While this was indeed one of her talents, she was also a mother of nine who ably wore many hats, among them: homemaker, personal improvement coach, therapist, real estate broker, general contractor, interior designer, theater and literature critic, skillful bridge partner, and gracious host. As a Naval Officer's wife to Lieutenant Commander Leslie Walter Williams, the father of her children, she traveled the world and has now returned to her true home in God's arms.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Fr. John, Msgr. Francis, Lois (Jim) Bachmeier, Josephine (Maury) Koenigs, Marie Fourré (Dan) Russ (Larry), Fr. Martin, Leo, Thomas (Rita), and Peter (Carole); and her beloved daughter, Lisa Ann Williams Calderón.
She will be greatly missed by her dearly loved children: Laura, Maureen (Chris), Tara (Tom), Clare (Bill), James (Jane), Patrick (Anne), Katie (Peter), and Michael (Jeni); thirty "practically perfect" grandchildren, twenty-five (and counting!) great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
