Kaye Daugherty, 67, of Benton, Arkansas passed away in Little Rock on September 29, 2023, after a debilitating battle with cancer.

She was born in Vardaman, Mississippi on December 5, 1955 to James Edward & Frances Lorene Ward who instilled family values & a strong work ethic. Her family relocated to Arkansas at a young age, where she attended Benton School District and later worked for Bryant School District for over 20 years.

Kaye met the love of her life, Ron, in 1997. From the moment they met, they were inseparable. They fulfilled their lives with the excitement of traveling and attending numerous Corvette shows with their best friends, some of which include Patsy & Kenneth Eubanks, Cathy & Charles Ward, Lois & Rick Cavendar, Glenda & Larry Bocksnick and Brenda & Jerry Reagan. Everyone who knew Kaye, knew that she was very passionate about her car collection, and that she was even more passionate about her family. Which includes her three daughters, Wendy Parsons, Rebecca Williams (husband Eric), and Sherri Burks (husband Jason), her two step-son's Ronnie Daugherty (wife Michelle), Gary Daugherty, and step-daughter, Regina Lanehart (husband Chuck). She loved most of all her role of being a grandma to her grandchildren, Matthew, Justin (Kourtney), Bianca (Brent), Logan (Taylor), Nathan, Evan (Joanha), Zander (Corley), Eric, Tripp, Aubrey, Dalton and Bella, and great-grandchildren, Aidin, Landon, Kenton, Henley, Aubriee, Payton, Aria, Gunner and Oliver. She also had two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren that, unfortunately, she did not have the opportunity to know. She treasured her time with all of the grandkids and loved being their "GK".

Kaye will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her joyous laugh that would fill the room and the way that she deemed you a member of the family from the moment she met you. We'll always imagine hearing her say "love you" one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. We will miss her every day and always be saddened by her being taken from us too soon. However, we will find happiness in the memories made and the legacy of the family that she maintained so well. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she loved and those who love her..

Kaye was preceded in death by her father, and is survived by her mother, husband, all her children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
