This is a placeholder memorial for Franie (Tobias) Adam. I estimate that she was buried at Spies Cem. Her husband who had remarried after her death was buried here rather than with his 2nd wife who had died and is buried at Alsace Lutheran Cem. I assume the rationale was that he wished to be buried with Franie, his first wife. Her mother was also buried here just shortly before Franie's death. Perhaps if we find the tombstone of her husband William Adam, we will find hers as well.
In her father's probate record where all the children are listed in order, she is listed between Hannah (b. 1828) and Elizabeth (b. 1832). Thus, 1830 appears to be a reasonable estimate of her year of birth. Some researchers show a birthdate of 18 Sep 1830. Perhaps someone found a Christening record. As for the year of death, her husband's Dec 1904 obituary indicates she had died 37 years prior; thus, about 1867. She is definitely in the 1860 census but not the 1870 census.
