Mrs. John (Ann) Dehn, 55, of Chicago, mother of Mrs. James (Betty) Hettermann and Richard Dehn of Johnsburg, died Friday morning, Jan. 6, in Walther Memorial hospital, Chicago.
The deceased was born in McHenry July 31, 1905, a daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Oertel.
Besides the children mentioned, she leaves one other son, William, of Elgin; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Beeskow and Mrs. Rita Davis of Chicago; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Simpson and Mrs. Gertrude Martin of Chicago; and a brother, Tony Oertel, of Carpentersville. Two sisters, Julia Michels and Marie DiSilvestro, and one brother, Louis, preceded her in death.
Services were held from the Nielsen funeral home to Maternity B.V.M. church Monday morning, with interments in St. Joseph's cemetery. (McHenry Plaindealer, McHenry, IL, January 12, 1961)
